Enterprise Collaboration Masterclass

IM Energy Forum

5th May 2010

Robert Gordon University, Garthdee, Aberdeen.

Cost: No cost, open to all forum members (numbers limited per company)

The event will consider how IM can add value in Enterprise Collaboration. Content is not yet confirmed as we are still taking input. Two topics will be delivered, each followed by a discussion period. Member input so far indicates that these topics are likely to be on IM Strategy in Enterprise Collaboration and IM Governance in Enterprise Collaboration. We are also scheduling time to discuss a recent Controlled Distribution investigation conducted through the Forum and to continue an interactive exercise on discussing recent projects in member IM departments. This exercise was begun at the last Forum Meeting hosted by Total on the 9th of March.

The purpose of the forum is to promote best practice in information management for energy companies and their key suppliers. It is about working on common areas of interest, sharing ideas, lessons learned and future strategies. The forum is operated by Amor Group to facilitate these objectives and make it easier for energy companies to collaborate. The forum is not a place where you will come across lots of product and service vendors. Feedback so far has been that people directly involved in IM do not want product pitches, they value a customer led environment.
